Pastor Billy gives us these important tips as a part of his continuing ’Plug In’ message:

1. You have been given the authority to control your life through the power of your word. So watch what you say.
2. Satan will use pain and other physical symptoms and circumstances to hinger you from speaking God's Word in faith.
3. What you say in spite of what you see or feel makes all the difference. We have been instructed to walk by faith and not by sight.
4. Speaking God's Word will establish things in your life and cause it to come to pass. Train your mouth to speak faith filled words. Don't continue to lose the battle of the tongue.

If your not connected you don’t know what to do. Too many people aren’t working because they aren’t connected to God. When you aren’t connected you can’t hear what God is trying to tell you in the midst of your situation. But when your connected you receive what the main branch receives.

When your going through trouble is not the time to give up on what you’ve learned. Don’t get comfortable with where you’re at; continue working the word and moving forward.

Satan will try to camouflage whatever he does so that people will not know it's his doing. Satan will employ the christian's mind to do this work. Satan surrounds you with strongholds so as to prevent you from oveying the Word of God. Thoughts and imagination that oppose itself against the Word Of God. The Word tells us we should be...casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God.

When your time comes for you to be set free, there is nothing that can stop you. Stop looking at others receiving and start looking for your own blessing. Stop looking to everyone around you for your blessing. Just like Jesus was there to help the lame man receive his blessing, he's there for you too.

Jesus came to save us because he loved us. He gave a perfect example of love. We as Christians need to learn to show that same kind of love, a love that will put us in action. A love that will make us obey God. Just as Jesus humbled himself and obeyed God we need to humble ourselves and obey.

Don’t be turned off by a message that calls you to change, let it be an influence to cause you to change. If you’re trying to change remember, it doesn’t matter what others think; If you’re in Christ, you’re a new creature.

It's not the pastor's job to make things come into your life. It's you job to get the faith so that you can do it yourself. If you believe what God says, you will do what God says no matter what comes.

Our praise to God shouldn’t be forced; it should be a free will offering. We give God praise no matter what is going on, we put forth, award, and volunteer our praise to God.

You need to learn to praise God no matter what’s going on. Habakkuk rejoiced because he knew what God was able to do, he didn’t wait for the manifestation. He knew God was able to fix his problem. Do you have that same view; are you willing to offer up the Sacrifice of Praise?

Everywhere you go there are rules. They are there for your benefit. Too often people complain because the church has rules. The rules are there to help build up and grow the church. Even though you may not be doing what is right, God is willing to look past what you are to help you become what you can be. At Power Of The Spirit we will love you, because it’s what God commands.

How do you keep your joy? By trusting in God. Are you missing joy in your life? Are you trusting in God?

It doesn’t matter what your in, God sent his word to deliver you from it, but you’ve got to keep your joy.

God has already given you joy. You don’t need to keep asking for it or keep trying to work up joy in your life. It’s already there. Start to focus on the good God has already done in your life. Stop looking at where you are, and start looking at where God is taking you.

God said you were made in His image, when you look at yourself you should see God in you. Stop holding on to what you once were. God has made you a new creature.

The devil is trying to talk you out of what God has already given you. He will give you empty promises that sound appealing, but his end goal to steal from you and kill you. Don’t believe his lies; instead believe on God. If you can believe God you will see what he has promised.

In the time of battle you need to know that the Lord is on your side. Having God on your side makes up for any and everything you may be missing. God is telling you not to be afraid, because he is on your side. Don't focus on the problem and try to figure out how to solve it yourself, let the Lord solve it for you. The day you decide to believe God, is the day you will see God move on your behalf.

You have to prepare your mind for war. The devil is preparing to wage war against you. He wants to take everything that you have, your health, you finances, your family and anything else he can. God told David to pursue his enemy and recover everything that the enemy had taken. You need to decide what you will do when God tells you to fight. Will you let the enemy have your stuff or will you fight to take it back?

Don’t wait until a problem comes up in your life to start to pray. You need to put seed in the ground before the problem arrives. Sowing the Word in your life is like insurance, you get it before your need arrives.

You have the power to turn around your situation, God gave it to you. You need to turn from your own ways and use what God has given you to come out. When you have power you don’t run from the enemy, the enemy should run from you.

Do the holidays stress you out? God has a remedy for people who are stressed at this time of year. God doesn’t want you to be worried about anything he wants you to bring it to Him in prayer, and let Him handle it.

If you have an area in your life that’s empty, that is an opportunity for God’s Word to go forth in your life. You can’t receive what God has said until you learn to say what God is saying. God spoke to create the universe; you need to speak God’s word to fulfill the need in your life.

God didn’t pick you because of who you are, but because of what you CAN do. You show your faith by your obedience. Your obedience is important, because you can’t come out of your situation until you obey God. If you learn to say what God says, you will get to see what God sees.

God has given you power over the power of your enemy. The same power the profits of old had is the same power that you have. The power God has given to you will change your life. The things that you used to be under are now under you because of God’s power, And now you can be what God has required.

In order to get your break through, your going to have to work. Don’t wait for others, you need to work for your own blessing. You need to go to Jesus yourself. If you can believe in the world’s system, then you can believe in God’s system. When you’re going through hard times, don’t think that God doesn’t care. He has already given a Word to bring you out of your situation, what you do with that Word is up to you.

Prayer doesn't change God, it changes you. Satan uses crisis as a weapon to get you to stop paying attention to the word. Restricting yourself is a symptom of a crisis. You should never restrict yourself from doing what God says you can. You must be changed from unrighteousness to righteousness to receive the blessings of God. Either you change or your crisis will destroy you. The Word of God is what will cause your change to come.

Don’t wait until you’re in a crisis to pray, Pray to prepare for your crisis. When God speaks a word, your situation has to catch up with that word. When you’re in a crisis in order to come out there must be agreement between you and God, As long as your divided you cannot come out.

God sent the word for the crisis’s that might show up in your life. For every crisis there is a word from God to handle it. Don't get caught up in the crisis; get caught up in the Word.

Are you pregnant with the promise of God? Has he given you a promise you’re waiting to manifest? You give birth to the promises of God by praising him. You must work or labor to give birth. You've got to push until your blessing comes. When it comes to giving birth to the promises of God there are no c-sections. You have to labor through. Just like a mother is willing to do what ever is required for her baby, you should be willing to do what ever is required from God for your blessing.

You have to make your mind up that TODAY is YOUR DAY. The decision you make today affects your pathways. God made this day for your blessing. You need to make up your mind to speak life and not death. The same faith you use to not have is the same faith you can use to get something. If you don't train your brain to speak God's word you are going to have destruction in your life. God should be the one speaking through your mouth. Sometimes you need to be quiet and listen to what God has to say.

When you speak God’s Word, you’re standing in his place. God’s word is a powerful weapon for us to use in the battle against Satan. Satan wants to steal the Word out of your heart so that you will be weaponless against him.

As a Christian you will be tested. The Word will help you pass the tests. When you‘re going through a test, do not get in the natural. On the other side of your test is your blessing. When you stand on God‘s word you will come out of where you are, and you will pass your Word Test.

Did you know you are a threat to Satan? You are a threat when you are what God says you are. When you learn to over come the fear and doubt in your life, then you can do anything. The Word was sent to give you the ability to become what God wants you to be. Never be discouraged because of where you are now. If you start a work finish it. If you give up you will never see the end that God has prepared for you.
