Testimony

Dr. John Chacha, as a teenager in Kenya, gave his life to Jesus against his parents' wishes. His father wanted to kill him but could not because of supernatural intervention. "I remember", John explains, "my father raising a big stick to hit me on my head after I refused to denounce my faith, but the stick couldn't touch my head.  The power of God was all over me so that when he tried to hit me, the stick bounced back.  It was as if some magnetic force repelled the stick in the opposite direction before it could touch me. This happened three times!”

 

“Through God’s power I broke the generational curse in my family, especially the spirit of poverty, ignorance and ancestral worship. A few years later, the Lord saved my life from the hands of Idi Amin's soldiers who wanted to kill me when I was on a mission in Uganda.

 

 

BIOGRAPHY

 

Dr. John N. Chacha is the Founder and Executive Director of Teamwork Ministries, Inc. and Teamwork Bible College International based in Martinsville, Virginia. He believes that the number one need in the Body of Christ is global-minded Christian leaders. It is great leaders who influence society, bring about reformation and chart the course of history. His mission is to train and equip Christian leaders around that world who will make disciples for Christ.

 

Dr. Chacha is a popular, dynamic and sought after speaker. He is a true missionary to the world. His ministry trains and sends out short term missionaries to different parts of the world. On many occasions the Lord has used Dr. Chacha in the prophetic ministry, healings and deliverance. He is internationally recognized by many as a spiritual father and an apostle to the Body of Christ.

 

He and his wife Regina reside in Collinsville, Virginia with their sons, Mwita and Imani, and their daughter, Tenzi.

 

AREAS OF MINISTRY

 

1.      Literature Ministry

 

¨      Dr. Chacha has written more than twenty books - concise, powerful tools that are blessing thousands across the nations. Some of the book titles are:

 

-         Total Life Management,

-         Spiritual Warfare,

-         Prayer Power,

-         Becoming a Person God Uses,  

-         Becoming a Person of Integrity.

 

¨      The “little missionaries”, as Dr. Chacha’s books and tracts are called, have been used to bring many to salvation, healing, deliverance and into a deeper walk with the Lord. Dr. Chacha’s books are free to pastors in developing nations who otherwise would have limited access to Christian books.

 

2.      Establishing Bible Schools

 

¨      Dr. Chacha has established branches of Teamwork Bible College (TBC) through a correspondence program and church-based schools. Many pastors and other Christians who would not have been able to receive training have now found a school that is accessible, affordable, and meets their needs.

 

¨      Bible Schools have been started in India, South Africa, Poland, the United Kingdom, Kenya, Ghana, Nigeria and the United States. The vision of TBC is to plant 500 church-based Bible schools by the year 2010. 

 

3.      Working with Other Ministries

 

¨      For the past two years, Dr. Chacha has been working with Operation Blessing’s Flying Hospital, serving as chaplain and gaining experience on conducting medical missions. Knowing and working with medical personnel has provided training and revealed opportunities for the future.

 

¨      Dr. Chacha has ministered on the Mercy Ships of Youth With a Mission.  YWAM has also used his literature to help train their missionaries. 

 

4.      Radio Ministry

 

¨      Short wave radio is the primary link with the outside world for many people in remote regions. Via short wave, the gospel can penetrate areas where the government has restricted or forbidden preaching of the Word.

 

¨      To date, Dr. Chacha’s messages have been broadcast on two short wave stations, each reaching a listening audience of an estimated 100 million people.  One station targets North and Central Africa, the other targets the Middle East.

 

5.      Conducting Seminars, Conventions and Crusades

 

¨      Dr. Chacha has a unique gift for imparting the Word of God with authority and clarity. He conducts leadership seminars and conventions to train local pastors and church leaders and missionaries. He has ministered to thousands through mass evangelism, crusades, conferences, and schools of ministry in Europe, Asia, South America, the Middle East, the Caribbean, Africa, and the United States.

 

¨      Seminars led by Dr. Chacha are meeting the needs of leaders and believers in Christian communities of all kinds. The seminar topics include:
